A Financially Growing Book

The reset that has to happen before the budget ever will.

The Loved First Bridge: A Mother's Reset Before the Money. A faith-led reset for the cycle-breaking mother, written by a blind financial educator who lost her job, her first marriage, and her eyesight in the same month, and rebuilt from a floor that could not be taken.

You were loved before you produced. Before you earned a single dollar. Before you proved you could be useful.

Loved first. Built second.

Why This Book Exists

This is not a budget book. It is the floor underneath one.

Most financial books start with the numbers. This one starts with the mother: her body, her wants, her routines, her marriage or her singleness, her children, her faith, her energy. All the things financial education skips over, and all the reasons financial plans collapse.

Because no financial plan stands up without a floor. And the floor is not a spreadsheet. The floor is the truth that you were loved before you ever produced, and everything you build comes second.

The Loved First Bridge is the twelve-week reset that puts the order right, so that whatever you build next, including your money, gets built on something that does not move.

Ten parts. One walk.

  • Part 1 · The Floor. Four original frameworks: Loved First Built Second, Vision Before Sight, The Body Keeps the Floor, and The Hidden Truth in the Diagnosis.
  • Part 2 · Your Health. Conditions, movement, sleep, nutrition, energy mapping, and a flare plan that loves you on the hard days too.
  • Part 3 · Your Wants & Needs. The layer underneath money, and permission to want again.
  • Parts 4 to 9. Routines and time, honest workouts, your kids, your marriage or your singleness honored, the time block that fits your body, and a three-tier energy strategy.
  • Part 10 · The Reset Closing. A letter to your future self, one bold move, and your defining line.

Every section carries teaching, a guidance step, a story from Ashlee's own life, and a journal prompt to take to your own page.

From the Author

I did not write this book because I figured out money.

I wrote it because I figured out the floor underneath money, and discovered that no financial plan stands up without it. I am a wife, a mother of five, and a certified financial educator. I am also a woman who lost her sight, lives with autoimmune disease, was raised in foster care, and once lost her job, her first marriage, and her eyesight in the same month.

Everything I teach traces back to one sentence I heard in the dark at seven years old: you are loved. Not you will be loved if you do better. Loved. Already. This book hands you that floor, and then shows you how to stand on it.

Questions, answered plainly

Is this a Christian book?

Yes, openly. It is a faith-led reset anchored in Scripture, and the practical work stands on its own two feet. The faith is named, not hidden.

Is it only for mothers?

It was written from a mother's life, and mothers will feel most directly addressed. But the walk belongs to any woman breaking a cycle; Part 7 honors marriage and singleness side by side, and the frameworks hold for every season.

Is this a finance book?

It is the book that comes before the finance book. It resets the body, wants, routines, relationships, and energy that every financial plan silently depends on. The money work comes after, and it finally holds.

What is the difference between the book and the workbook?

The book is the teaching. The workbook is where the walking happens: every prompt from all ten parts with fillable space to answer, built screen-reader-first in large-print and dark mode editions. Book buyers get $10 off with the code in the back matter.

Is the book accessible?

Yes. The Kindle edition reflows to any text size and works with screen readers, and the author is blind, so accessibility is not an afterthought anywhere in this house.

You were loved before any of this began.

The Bridge is how you start living like you believe it.
