MONEYROOTS · FROM FINANCIALLY GROWING

Your teen is going to learn about money. The only question is from whom

The MoneyRoots Starter Kit: four fillable guides that walk your family through honest money conversations, a 30-day habit challenge, and your teen's real first budget. About 15 minutes a day. No lectures required.

Launch price for the first 50 families. Then $67. Instant download after purchase.

WHY THIS KIT EXISTS

Nobody Handed You A
Script For This

Most of us were taught about money by watching, not by talking. We watched stress at the kitchen table. We watched the card get declined, or the subject get changed. Then we grew up and swore our kids would learn differently, without ever being shown how to teach it.

Schools rarely cover it. Social media covers it badly. And the talk keeps getting postponed because it feels awkward, or because a quiet voice says, I never learned this either.

That voice is not disqualifying. It is the reason this kit exists. Prevention beats repair, and the prevention window for money habits is open right now, while your teen is still at your table.

What's Inside The
Toolkit

Four fillable PDFs. Fill them on any device, or print and write by hand.

01 · FOR YOU

Quick-Start Parent Guide

Your script for the whole kit: the recommended order, eleven real-talk conversation starters, and word-for-word responses for every flavor of teen resistance, including 'this is boring' and 'we're not rich enough to budget.'

02 · FOR YOUR TEEN

Teen Money Assessment

A no-grades, no-wrong-answers self-discovery quiz: how they handle money now, ten money skills rated honestly, and six reflection questions that show them their own patterns before you say a word.

03 · FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY

30-Day Family Money Challenge

Thirty bite-sized daily challenges with checkboxes, from the needs-versus-wants grocery audit to Cost of Life Bingo to a letter your teen writes to their 30-year-old self. Five to ten minutes a day.

04 · THE DELIVERABLE

Budget Your Life Worksheet Pack

Three worksheets that end with your teen holding a real personal budget built on their actual life: know your numbers, build the budget, set three money goals with amounts and deadlines.

ONE RULE HOLDS THE WHOLE KIT

Needs First. Save Second.
Wants Last.

Not because wants don't matter, but because security comes first. Every worksheet, every challenge, and every conversation in this kit is built on that one foundation, so your teen leaves with a principle, not just paperwork.

HOW IT WORKS

Five Steps To Real
Habits

1

Read the Parent Guide (10 minutes)

Get familiar with the kit before handing anything over, so you can answer questions with confidence.

2

Your teen takes the Money Assessment (15–20 minutes)

Privately. It's self-discovery, not a test they can pass or fail.

3

Talk about it together (15–30 minutes)

The conversation starters open a real talk, not a lecture. You ask more than you tell.

4

Start the 30-Day Challenge as a family

One small challenge a day. Some are individual, some are for everyone. Light and low-pressure.

5

Your teen builds their first budget (week 2 or 3)

Three worksheets later, they're holding something most adults have never made.

ACCESSIBILITY

Built Accessible From
The Ground Up

I'm a blind author and educator, so I don't add accessibility at the end. I start there. Every field in all four PDFs is a true form field your keyboard and assistive tech can reach, every field carries a screen-reader description, and the large-print, high-contrast layout prints cleanly at home without drinking your ink.

LAUNCH PRICING

Honest Math For Your
Legacy

Here is the honest math, because that is how we do things here. The launch price exists so the first fifty families can run the kit and tell me what serves them before it settles at its full price of $67. No countdown timers, no fake scarcity. When the fiftieth kit sells, the price changes. That is the whole mechanism.

For scale: one family pizza night costs more than half of this kit, and this is a month of guided money formation your teen carries into adulthood.

A SAFE SPACE

A Note For The
Mother

Most mothers who start this kit notice something: they sit down to teach their teen about money and an old tightness shows up, scarcity, the urge to push through, or a quiet voice that says "I never learned this either." That is not failure. That is the place where the cycle wants to break.

The kit stands completely on its own. But if you find yourself wanting your OWN foundation first, a place to put your own wants, needs, body, and faith before teaching theirs, that is exactly what The Loved First Bridge is for. The door is open at financiallygrowing.com/bridge whenever you want it.

Questions, Answered
Plainly

Every tool in the kit was designed to clear away the overwhelm. Here is exactly what you need to know before you start your family's 30 days.

What ages is this for?

It's built for teens, roughly middle school through high school, with a parent guide written for you. Younger kids can join the family challenges; the assessment and budget worksheets land best from about age 12 up.

How much time does it take?

The parent guide takes ten minutes. The assessment takes your teen 15 to 20 minutes. The daily challenges run 5 to 10 minutes. The budget worksheets take 20 to 30 minutes, best done in week two or three.

Do we need to print anything?

No, but you can. All four PDFs are fillable on a phone, tablet, or computer, and they also print cleanly in a light, ink-friendly layout if your family works better on paper.

What if money is really tight for us right now?

Then this kit was built for your table especially. Budgeting matters more when money is tight, not less, and none of the thirty challenges require spending. Several of them save or earn money during the month.

Is this a Christian resource?

Yes, gently. Each guide closes with a Scripture anchor from Proverbs or the Psalms. The money teaching stands on its own two feet, and the faith is named, not hidden.

Do I need The Loved First Bridge first?

No. The kit stands completely on its own. The Bridge is there for the mother who wants her own foundation before, during, or after teaching her teen.

What if it's not for us?

Email within 14 days and I will refund you. No questionnaire, no hard feelings.
