Personal Discovery Call

One size was never going to fit your life.

Before I ever hand you a plan, I want to know your actual life: your body, your household, your story. This is where that begins.

A short intake, at your pace. No obligation once you send it in.

Why this exists

Most financial plans were built for someone else.

Templates assume a steady income, a steady body, a steady week. If your real life includes chronic illness, a full household, or a season that looks nothing like steady, the plan was never going to hold, no matter how disciplined you tried to be.

You've tried the generic version

An app, a budget template, a program built for an imagined "average" woman. It slipped by week three, and quietly convinced you that you were the problem.

You want to be known, not just planned for

Handing someone your real story, not the tidy version, is exactly what you want and exactly what feels most exposing. Both things are true at once.

You are not filling out a form.

You are introducing yourself to me.

- Ashlee, from The Mother's Discovery

ONE SIZE DOES NOT FIT ALL

Six ways I get to know you first.

The Mother's Discovery is structured around six principles. Nothing here is generic, because your plan won't be either.

I.

Sincere

Who you are, where you are today, underneath the roles you carry.

II.

Empathetic

Where the weight is. Held gently, only what you have words for today.

III.

Benefits

What you are actually hoping for, without editing yourself down.

IV.

Match benefits to wants

What you actually need from this work, not what you think you should need.

V.

Common grounds

Where our stories meet, and where your faith or convictions fit in, if at all.

VI.

Goals

What we are building together: 90 days, 12 months, and the bold move underneath both.

THE LIVED EXPERIENCE

Built by someone who has lived it.

I am a wife, a mother of five, and a certified financial educator. But I am also a woman who lost her sight, lives with autoimmune disease, was raised in foster care, and once lost her job, her first marriage, and her eyesight in the same month.

Everything I teach traces back to one sentence I heard in the dark at seven years old: you are loved.

That is why this process does not start with a spreadsheet. It starts with your story, read slowly, held carefully, and built into a plan that fits the life you actually have, not the one a template assumes.

CLARITY

Questions, answered plainly.

Does filling out the intake commit me to anything?

No. Sending The Mother's Discovery back does not commit you to booking a call or working together. I read it, sit with it for a day, and reach out. From there, you decide.

How long does the intake take?

There is no deadline. Fill it out in one sitting or across several weeks. If a question brings up more than you expected, the form itself tells you: pause, make tea, walk away. It will wait.

I already have the book or the workbook. Is this different?

Yes. The book teaches. The workbook gives you room to write. This is where I actually read what you wrote and build something specific to you, not a framework to apply alone.

Is this faith-based?

I am a Christian financial educator, and Scripture shows up in how I work. I serve women of every faith and none, and I will never use Scripture against you.

What if I'm not ready to be that known yet?

That is allowed. Write what is true today, not the version you think sounds better. This is slow work. You are permitted to do it slowly.

READY WHEN YOU ARE

Before we build your plan, I want to know you.

This is not a test. There are no wrong answers. Write the way you would talk to a friend who has time to listen.

I read every word, and reach out personally to schedule our first conversation.

You are loved first. You are built second.
